OPress the oil seal with the driver until the driver bottoms out on the bearing carrierInspect the adaptor for other signs of excessive wear or damageReplace the adaptor if any are found FORWARD GEAR BEARING ADAPTOR ASSEMBLYCOMPONENT DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY NOTE; Complete the instructions in this section only if the needle bearing in the bearing adaptor is defective and the adaptor is to be reused 1Disassemble the adaptor as follows: aRemove the bearing from the adaptor using the bearing removal toolAlign the pins of the tool with the holes of the adaptor and apply pressure to the center of the tool so that the pressure is equal on both of the pinsDiscard the bearing
