Pull the bearing carrier from the gear housing by pull

ing on the outer ring of the bearing carrierPOSITION
PULLER JAWS CLOSE TO BOSSES IN CARRIERNOTE: If the bearing carrier is seized in the gear housing, it may be necessary to use heat to loosen the carrierRemove the bearing carrier retainer following step or as follows:
