Install dial indicator and align the dial indicator point
er so that it is perpendicular to and touching the "IH mark on the dial indicator toolTighten the indicator
tool onto the drive shaft and rotate the drive shaft so that the needle in the dial makes at least one full revolution and comes to on the dial indicator scale
1Apply forward pressure to propeller shaft as follows:
aAttach puller jaws and puller bolt onlo bearing carrier bosses and propeller shaft
