DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLYCOMPONENT DISASSEMBLY Note: Complete the instructions in this section only if the assembly components have been found to be defective and are in need of repair or replacement1Press the tapered roller bearing from the drive shaft using the universal puller plate to support the inner of the bearing while removing it DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLYCOMPONENT REASSEMBLY Note: Complete the instructions in this section only if the assembly components have been disassembled and repaired or replacedAssemble new tapered roller bearing to the drive shaft with the large 0.0of the bearing facing the pinion gear end of the drive shaftPress the tapered roller bearing onto the drive shaft using the universal puller plate and suitable mandrel, (an old tapered roller bearing inner race)a Universal Puller Plate (91 -37241)
