IMPORTANT: The bearing MUST BE replaced if removed from gear4Place the universal puller plate between the thrust washer and bearing as shown and press on the plate until it bottoms12
CAUTION
Clamp onto the reinforcing rib of the bearing carrier ONLY, or damage to the carrier may resultPlace the bearing carrier in vise, clamping on the reinforcing ribRemove the reverse gear, thrust ringand bearing as an assembly, using slide hammer puller
