Mark gear housing and trim tab so that trim tab can be reinstalled in the same positionRemove plastic cap at rear edge of drive shaft housingWhile holding trim tab securely, unthread bolt that secures trim tab and remove trim tab from gear housing Once trim tab is removedremove bolt from inside of trim tab cavity
Disco nnect high tension leads from spark plugs and remove spark plugs from engine before remov ing gear housing from drive shaft hou sing1Disconnect high tension leads from spark plugs and remove spark plugs from engine
Shift engine into neutral position Till engine to full up position and engage tilt lock leverBend labs of propeller tab washer away from thrust
