9Tie knot (a) as shownthread rope thru retainer (b) and handle (c)10Thread starter rope (d) thru rope guide (e), starter housing (f) and starter sheave (g)Tie knot in end of rope as shown in inset and pull knot tight
11Turn sheave 2-12 turns CLOCKWISE (a) with rope coiting into sheaveHold rope in slot (b) while turning sheave turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE (c)Allow sheave to slowly rewind remainder of loose rope
