Ignition Components Removal and Installation
Flywheel
NOTE: Flywheel assembly may be removed through the use of Strap Wrench (91-24937A1) or Flywheel HolderPuller (91-804552)
REMOVAL STRAP WRENCH METHOD 1Remove rewind starterRefer to Section 8
CAUTION
Do not strike flywheel with hard object, as flywheel damage could occur
WARNING
Engine could possibly start when turning flywheel during removal and installation; therefore, disconnect spark plug lead to prevent engine from starting1Use strap wrench to hold starter pulleyLoosen flywheel nut until nut is flush with end of crankshaft2Remove three bolts and starter pulley
