Thread starter rope thru hole of vert ical rope guide (a)then thru hole in starter handle (b) Tie knot (c) nto end of starter rope, then pull knot into recess of starter handle
Tie an overhand knot (a) in starter rope as shownto prevent rope from being rewound into starter housing Pull knot (b) from recess in starter handle (c) and untie or cut off knotPull starter handle and rope guide (d) from starter rope
