IMPORTANT: Install control cables to remote control and mount remote control BEFORE attaching control cables to engineInstall contro cables to remote contro and oun re mote con tro as outlined in the in stallat ion instructions which accompany the remote controlNOTE: Attach sh ift cable to engine firstShift cable is the first cable to move when remote contro handle is advanced from neutral position towa rd in-gear positio nRefer to "Quicksilver Accessories Gu ide" to determ ine correct length of remote control cab lesIMPORTANT: Remote control cables MUST BE THE CORRECT LENGTH, sharp bends In too-short cables result Inkinks"; too-long cables require unnecessary bends and or loopsBoth conditions plaw ew:tra stress on both cables and controlSHIFT CABLE CLEVIS INSTALLATION Install washer (a)then hread shift clevis (b) onto end of sh ift cab le, with approxi mately 112" (13mm) of th read engage mentNOTEDO NOT tighten "jam" nut (e)as adj ust ments are to follow
