Installation Instructions
1Install clevis to steering cable as shown2Lubricate 38 inx 1-38 in(9.5mm 34.9mm) bolt (area without threads) with 2-4-C wTeflon, then secure clevis to steering cable with this bolt and locknutTorque locknut (item "d") to 10 lbft(13.5 Nm)f
Core of steering cable must be fully retracted into cable housing when lubricating cableIf cable is lubricated while extended, hydraulic lock of cable could occur1Lubricate outboard end of Ride-Guide steering cable (thru grease fittingif equippednext to cable attaching nut) with Quicksilver 2-4-C wI TeflonNOTE: Ride-Guide steering cable is lubricated at the factory and requires no additional lubrication at initial installation
