2Install the small hole gasket then the face plate followed by the large hole gasket onto the gear case 5Install the water pump locating pins through the gaskets and face plate6Apply light coat of 2-4-C wTeflon (92-825407 12) to the inside of the pump coverPosition the water pump body over the drive shaft and water pump locating pinsRotate the drive shaft in clockwise direction, while pushing down on the water pump body to ease the water pump over the impeller blades
a Filler Block Small Hole Gasket Face Plate Large Hole Gasket
3Place small amount of 2-4-C wTeflon (92-825407 12) on the flat surface of the impeller key and install the key onto the drive shaft keyway
a Water Pump BodyWater Pump Alignment Pins (91-821571 1) Drive Shaft (turn clockwise while installing water pump body)
IMPORTANT: When using an impeller whose blades have taken set, face the curl of the blades in counterclockwise directionDO NOT install the impeller with its blades oriented in reversed direction from original rotation, or premature impeller failure will occur4Assemble the water pump impeller onto the drive shaft and down over the key
