IMPORTANT: The pinion bearing rollers are free to fall out of the pinion bearing once the drive shaft is removedBe careful not to lose the (18) rollers5Remove the drive shaft and all components by pulling the drive shaft straight out of the gear housing as shown 7Form small hook on stiff piece of wire and attempt to hook onto the top side of the gear and pull it outIt may be necessary to slightly move the propeller shaft from side-to-side to dislodge the pinion gear
