NOTE: If the pinion bearing needle bearings have fallen out, install 18 needles into needle bearing outer raceUse 2-4-C wlTeflon (92-825407A 12), to help hold needles in place
Propeller Shaft Assembly
INSTALLATION

1To allow for the engagement of the shift spool with the shift crank, tilt the propeller end of the propeller shaft assembly to the left (port) side of gear housing and rotate the shift shaft from reverse to neutral while installing shaft (ratcheting assembly shown)
