bIf Replacing the Seal Only: Remove the oil seals with suitable pry bar, being careful not to damage the bore of the bearing carrier BEARING CARRIER ASSEMBLY Component reassembly
NOTE: Complete the instructions in this section only if the assembly components have been disassembled and repaired or replaced
1Clean all of the components with suitable solvent and dry the parts thoroughly using compressed airBe careful not to spin the bearing2Lubricate the bore that the needle bearing is pressed into with Quicksilver Gear Lubricant (92-13783A24)3Assemble the needle bearing (with the numbered end of the bearing towards the driver shoulder), onto the driver4Press the needle bearing into the bearing carrier until the driver bottoms out on the bearing carrierEnsure that the numbered side of the needle bearing faces the seal end (aft end) of the carrier
