1Paint any exposed metal surfaces to prevent corrosion2Apply Loctite 271 to screwsInstall trim system, starboard transom bracket, and tilt tube nut3Reinstall trim limit bolt

IMPORTANT: Cross pin (a) should not be reusedReplace with new cross pin9Remove trim indicator sender from port side of swivel bracket10Drive out cross pin, push out upper swivel pin, and remove screws and washers retaining trim systemRemove system from outboardaScrew (6) Torque to 40 lbft(54.0 Nm)Flatwasher (6) Install one per screwTilt Tube NutTrim Limit Bolt
