Reed Block Assembly DO NOT intermix halves of upper and lower crankshaft center main roller bearingsReplace bearings in pairs only4Thoroughly inspect center main roller bearingsReplace bearings if they are rusted, fracturedworngalled or badly discolored
IMPORTANT: DO NOT remove reeds from reed blocks, unless replacement is necessaryDO NOT turn used reeds over for re-useReplace reeds in sets only1Thoroughly clean gasket surfaces of reed blocks and reed block housingCheck for grooves, cracks and distortion that could cause leakageReplace parts as necessary2Check for wear (indentations) on face of each reed blockReplace block(s), if reeds have made indentations3Check for chipped and broken reeds
