Oil Injection Set Up Instructions for the Oil Injection System

Installing Oil Hoses to Engine
1Remove shipping cap from hose fitting (a)2Connect oil hose ("b" with blue stripe) to fitting as shownSecure with sta-strapNOTE: The third fitting (c) is vent and does not get connected
Be careful not to get dirt or other contamination in tanks, hoses or other components of the oil injection system during installation
If an electric fuel pump is to be used, the fuel pressure at the engine must not exceed psiIf necessary, install pressure regulator between electrical fuel pump and engine and set at psi maximumINSTALLING REMOTE OIL TANK

3Remove shipping cap from pulse fitting (d)4Connect the second oil hose (e) to pulse fitting as shownSecure with sta-strap5Refer to Section for proper routing of oil hoses thru clamp in the bottom cowl1The remote oil tank should be installed in an area in the boat where there is access for refilling2The tank should be restrained to keep it from moving around, causing possible damageUse the oil tank hold down kit providedAnother acceptable means of restraining the tank would be the use of eye bolts and an elastic retaining strap about the midsection of the tankVerify that any metal hooks do not puncture the tankNOTE: When installing in tight areas, this tank will be under pressure when the engine is operating and will expand slightly
