aReconnect BLACK cable (with YELLOW sleeve) to starter solenoid Test Point 1bConnect voltmeter between common engine ground and Test Point 7cTurn ignition key to "Start" positionNo voltage reading: Check BLACK cable (with YELLOW sleeve) for poor connection or open circuit12 Volt
Reading If starter motor does not turn, check starter motorBattery Voltage

INSTALLATION 1Secure starter to engine with boltsUse Left top bolt to attach BLACK NEGATIVE (-) battery cableTorque top attaching bolts to 231bft(31.0 Nm)Torque bottom attaching bolt to 21 lbft(28.5 Nm)2Secure BLACK cable (with YELLOW sleeve) to POSITIVE (+) terminal on starterTorque nut to 60 lbin(7.0 Nm)
