Remove slack from control cables by pulling out on each cable jacket with one hand and snugging up adjustment nut (a) against foot pedal base with other handUse scale and apply lb(O.9kg) force at middle of inner cable wire (b), as shownBest tension is when cable is deflected 316" to 112" (4.8mm to 12.7mm)If necessary, readjust cable adjustment nuts (a) to obtain proper cable tension
