1Pry pivot shaft (a) lock out of pocket and pull shaft out of foot pedal
A CAUTION
Disconnect battery leads from battery before removing rotary switch or ("onoff") switchRotary switch (d) removalRemove cotter pin (a) and remove speed indicator (b)Loosen retaining nut (c) then disconnect wires and remove switch (d)
