GEAR HOUSING REASSEMBLY 1If oil seal was removed from gear housing, replace as followsaApply Perfect Seal (C-92-34227) to outside diameter of oil sealbPlace gear housing in press and press oil seal into gear housing (using 9 16" socket as mandrel) until flush with gear housing, as shown in Figure 6Remove excess Perfect Seal; make sure that no Perfect Seal is on oil seal lipcLubricate oil seal lip with 2-4-C Multi-Lube

5If necessary, remove oil seal from gear housing retainer by prying out with screwdriver, as shown in Figure 46If necessary, remove oil seal from end of gear housing by using hammer to tap out oil seal withbent end" screwdriver or punch, as shown in Figure 5
