Location of AutoBlend 1If possible, locate AutoBlend so it isn 't exposed to direct sunlight2AutoBlend should be mounted at the same level or below the bottom of the fuel tank3AutoBlend should be mounted as close as possible to the fuel tank
Accessories Installed in Fuel System
1If possible, eliminate the use of added restrictions such as water separating fuel filter, anti -siphon valve, switching valve, or electric fuel pump that is not functioningetc2If water separating fuel filter is necessary, it should be located between the fuel tank and AutoBlend
Fuel and Fuel Filters
1Periodically inspect gas tank filter and AutoBlend filter for contamination 2Gasoline's are blended differently, depending on the seasonal temperaturesLate fallwinter and early spring blended fuels are designed to be more volatile (more easily vaporized) because of the typically cooler temperaturesUnseasonably warm temperatures will sometimes cause running problems (severe cases will cause vapor lock) particularly during fall and spring Alcohol bearing fuels also increase the potential for vapor lockingTherefore, it is recommended that fuels with no alcohol be used such as unleaded regular (except gasohol) and unleaded premium (except gasohol)Premium unleaded fuels (except gasohol) have the highest resistance to vaporization
