Transom Mounted Ride Guide Steering 1If removedinstall clevis to steering arm as outlined in "Clevis Installation following2Lubricate end of steering cable with 2-4- Marine Lubricant3Install steering cable thru cable guide tube and secure to cable guide tube with cable attaching nutDO NOT tighten cable attaching nut at this time

4Lubricate hole in clevis with 2-4-C Marine LubricantInstall steering cable to clevis with 38 inx 1-38 inbolt and locknut to 120 lbin(13.2 Nm) 5Adjust large jam nuts on cable tube of attaching kitso that steering wheel is in normal straightdriving position with engine in straight-running positionTorque each jam nut to 351bft (47 Nm)then bend side of tab washer against flat of each jam nut6Torque ride guide cable attaching nut (which secures cable to guide tube) to 35 lbft(47 Nm)Install locking sleeve over cable attaching nut and secure with cotter pinSpread ends of cotter pina -
