2Tighten steering pivot bolt into each engine steering arm until rubber bushing makes contact with both washers, then tighten pivot bolt on additional turn to compress rubber bushingThread locknut onto end of both pivot bolts and torque nut to 20 lbft(27 Nm) Make sure that at least threads of pivot bolts are showing beyond locknuts AWARNING
Both steering eyes must be threaded into coupler 34 in(19mm) minimum, and coupler must be secured to prevent turning with jam nut torqued to 20 lbft(27 Nm)Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in steering system failure
