After installation is complete (and before operation of outboard) check steering wheel rotationWhen turning wheel right boat will turn right, when turning wheel left boat will turn leftTurn steering thru full range (left and right) at all tilt angles to assure interference-free movement1Lubricate inside of outboard tilt tube with Quicksiver 2-4-C Marine Lubricant2Install locking sleeve (supplied with steering cable) over steering cable attaching nut, and secure with cotter pinSpread ends of cotter pinNOTE: Ride guide steering cable is lubricated at the factory and requires no additional lubrication at initial installation
