Select location that is: 1In-line with outboard and on flat surface2In an area where well inlet cover will not interfere with outboard fully tilted up3Close enough to transom to allow trim hose to extend to the power trim pump (refer to "Selecting Mounting Location for Power Trim Pump, following)
