AWARNING Outboard must be secured to boat transom with 38 in(9.5mm) diameter bolts into holes provided at bottom of clamp brackets, two 38 inhex bolts thru holes in center of clamp bracket and clamp bracket screws tightened securely3Additional carriage bolts and locknuts must be installed thru each trim cylinder mounting bracketClamp bracket screws and mounting bolts should be checked occasionally for tightness on the transomFailure to bolt motor to transom, using the aforementioned bolts, may result in damage to boat andor loss of occupants of boat4Apply marine sealer to shanks of carriage bolts and fasten each trim mounting bracket to transom with carriage bolts (a), flat washers and locknuts as shown 5Swing trim cylinders up and pull excess trim hose back out of cylinder mounting bracket6Reinstall trim cylinders to mounting brackets with pivot bolt (b) and locknut (c)Torque pivot bolts to 150 lbin (16.9 Nm)
