Testing Hydraulic Trim System (Using Test Gauge 91-52915A3) Installing Test Gauge
(For Testing Pump "Up" Pressure, Pump "Down" Pressure, Control Valve Check and Cylinder Test) NOTE: Test gauge may be connected at trim cylinder or at control valve (located on bottom of hydraulic pump), depending upon accessibility of the locationsTEST GAUGE CONNECTION (As Tested at Trim Cylinder) 1Turn manual release valve full in (clockwise) 2Manually tilt outboard to full tilt and lock in this position 3Remove hydraulic hoses from trim cylinders4Cap hoses at either trim cylinder and connect test gauge hoses to opposite trim cylinder hosesUse connectors and caps supplied with test gaugeNOTE: Test gauge hose (connected to small diameter hose) will be referred to as "Up" port hose and valveTest gauge hose (connected to large diameter hose) will be referred to as "Down" port hose and valve5With all hoses, caps and connectors tightened securely turn control valve knob full out (counterclockwise) 6Fill pump with oilRefer to "Filling and Bleeding the Power Trim System ," precedingProceed with test desired
