Align reed block locating holes with locating pin and push cran kshaft assembly downward to seat reed block in cylinder block Place O- ring seals (a) into the tapered seats of the lower end cap mounting holesHold seals in place with MUltipurpose LubricantAlign holes in bearing retainer (b) with lower end cap mounting holes
Check to see that no piston rings were broken during installation by preSSing in on each piston ring thru exhaust port using screwdriver (a) If no spring tension exists (ring fails to return to position)it's likely ring is broken and must be replacedInstall lower end cap (a) to cylinder block Do not tighten bolts at this timeInstall upper end cap (b) to cylinder block Do not tighten bolts at this timeo
