Position brushes in end cap as shown Place springs and brushes into brush holder and hold in place with brush retainers
Install negative brushes (a) and brush holder (b) Lubricate brushing (c) with drop of 10W oilDO NOT over-lubricateInstall armature into starter frame so that commutator end of armature is at end of starter frame where permanent magnets (a) are recessed 1-516 inAlign mark (b) on end cap with mark (c) on starter frame
