NOTE: Inspect the aft propeller shaft tapered roller bearing for pits, scoring, discoloration or excessive loosenessReplace bearing and bearing race inside of carrier if these conditions exsists6Perform the following step "a" or "b" as necessaryaIf replacing the seals only: Remove the oil seals with suitable punch, being careful not to damage the bore of the bearing carrierDiscard both of the seals
