Reassembly
Forward Gear Bearing Race
NOTE: Propshaft should be vertical when installing bearing race1Place shim(s) (retained from disassembly) into housingIf shim(s) were lost, or new gear housing is being assembled, start with 0.010 in(0.254 mm) shim(s)2Assemble components as shown using mandrel (91-31106); Apply 2-4-C wTeflon to O.Dof raceDrive race into housing by striking propeller shaft end with lead hammer
NOTE: Install nut on the end of the propshaft to prevent damage to the propshaft threads while performing step 2
