Starting System Components
Description
The function of the starting system is to crank the engineThe battery supplies electrical energy to crank the starter motorWhen the ignition switch is turned to "START" position, the starter solenoid is activated and completes the starting circuit between the battery and starterThe neutral start switch opens the start circuit when the shift control lever is not in neutralThis prevents accidental starting when engine is in gearThe starting system consists of the following components1Battery 2Starter Solenoid 3Neutral Safety Switch 4Starter Motor 5Ignition Switch
