1Attach (tape) engine mounting template (located in this manual) to boat transom
2Mark and drill four 1732 in(13.5mm) mounting holes
3Install the outboard so that the anti-ventilation plate is in-line or within in(25 mm) below the bottom of the boat0in(025mm)
