STARTER SOLENOID TEST Test starter solenoid as follows: 1Disconnect all leads from solenoid terminals2Use an ohmmeter, set to (R scale) and connect between solenoid terminals and 43Connect 12-volt supply between solenoid terminals and 2Solenoid should click and meter should read zero ohms4If meter does not read zero ohms (full continuity), replace solenoid
