Testing Ignition Components Resistance Tests
TIMING PROTECTION MODULE Normally, if timing advances and retards with corresponding changes in RPM, most likely the TPM is functioning correctlyRefer to "Ignition Diagnostic Procedures" preceding, for individual failure scenarios
TRIGGER (SN-0G589999BELOW) resistance check can be made on trigger coil between WHITEBLACK and WHITE leadsOhmmeter should indicate between 11001300 ohms
TRIGGER (SN-0G590000ABOVE)
STATOR resistance check can be made on charge coilsOhmmeter should indicate as follows: Black Stator between GREENWHITE and GREEN leads (525-625 ohms) Red Stator between GREENWHITE and WHITE GREEN leads (660-710 ohms)
