Bleeding Air From The Oil Injection System IMPORTANT: If air exists in either the oil pump inlet hose or oil pump outlet hose, the air MUST BE bled from the hose(s) or engine damage may occurBLEEDING AIR FROM THE OIL PUMP INLET HOSE 1With the engine not running, place shop towel below the oil pump2Loosen ble ed screw four (4) turns and allow oil to flow out of the ble ed hole until no air bubbles exist in the inlet hoseBLEEDING AIR FROM THE OIL PUMP OUTLET HOSE 3If any air bubbles are present in the outlet hose, they can be purged from the hose by removing link rod from the oil pump and rotating the pump arm fully clockwise while operating engine at 1000 to 1500 PM
