3Place mark on the tilt tube, 14 in(6.4mm) from end of tilt tubeInstall plastic spacer, o-ring and cap onto ste ering cable as shown14 in(6.4mm )
1Assemble ste ering link rod to ste ering cable with two flat washers and nylon insert locknut (11-34863)Tighten locknut until it se ats, then back nut off 14 turn2Assemble ste ering link rod to engine with special washer he ad bolt (10-823919) and nylon insert locknut (11-34863)First torque bolt to 20 lbft(27.1 m), then torque locknut to 20 lbft(27.1 m)
