2Place forward thrust hub on propeller shaft 2If necessary, adjust trim tab as follows:
aShift engine control into NEUTRAL and stop engineNOTE: Loosen trim tab bolt sufficiently to allow trim tab to disengage from locking ridges in gear case before attempting to move tabDO NOT strike trim tab with hard object to make adjustments
bIf boat pulls to the left, adjust trailing edge of trim tab (a) to the leftIf boat pulls to the right, adjust trailing edge of trim tab to the right
aThrust HubPropeller Shaft
3While aligning splines, place Quicksilver propeller and tab washer on propeller shaft4To prevent propeller from rotating, place flat block of wood between the anti-ventilation plate and the propeller5Thread propeller nut on propeller shaftTighten securely with wrench [minimum of 120 inlb(14 N'm) of torque]aTrimTab
