Bearing Carrier Needle Bearing
1The condition of the carrier needle bearing can be determined by inspecting its running surface on the propeller shaftIf the shaft is discolored (from lack of oil) or pitted, replace bearing and shaftBearing can be removed by using Driver Rod (91-37323) and Driver (91-37312)Removing bearing will also remove both propeller shaft sealsPress bearing into carrier until mandrel bottoms on carrier
aMandrel (91-817011)Bearing
Apply Loctite 271 (92-8230891) to .0 of small diameter sealWith seal lip FACING AWAY FROM LARGE SHOULDER of Mandrel 91-817007, press seal into carrier until mandrel bottoms on carrier
