Bleeding Power Trim Unit IMPORTANT: Manual release valve must be in the closed position during power trim bleeding and operation12Secure power trim unit in soft jawed viceRemove fill plug Add Quicksilver Power Trim and Steering Fluid (92-901 OOA 12) or Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Type F, FA or Dexron II up to threads of reservoirInstall cap
Power Trim Unit Installation
12Apply 2-4-C Marine Lubricant (92-90018A 12) to lower pivot pin hole and pivot pin surfaceInstall bushings into trim unit lower pivot pin boreInstall bushings into clamp bracket lower pivot pin boreUsing 12 volt power supply connect positive lead to green wirenegative lead to blue wire and drive trim rod to the down positionConnect positive lead to blue wire and negative lead to green wire and drive trim rod to the up positionRecheck fluid level, add fluid if required and repeat cycle until fluid level remains at lower portion of threads
