FAST IDLE ADJUSTMENT
UNLOADER ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: Fast idle adjustment is required when;
NOTE: Unloader adjustment is required when;
Fast idle exceeds 1500 rpmEngine stalls during cold start
The unloader adjustment screw has been loosened1Loosen the unloader adjustment screw2Close the choke valve fullyNOTE: Check for fully closed choke valve by depressing the #4 carbo choke lever, then check the #1 carbo choke lever to see that it is touching the stopper
1Remove the link rods and loosen fast idle screw2Loosen idle stop screw until the screw is free from the lever3Tighten the idle stop screw until the bypass hole is half visible4Tighten the idle stop screw the specified number of turns from the graph5Connect the link rods6Hold the fast idle lever to the roller and secure the fast idle screw
