6Remove lower gear shift rod (A) and clutch cam (8) 7Disassemble propeller shaft Clamp propeller shaft in vise (propeller end down)
IMPORTANT 8e sure vise is equipped with protective jaws (copper, brass or aluminum) to prevent damage to propeller shaft surface Remove clutch shift pin (A) Compress clutch spring with small screwdriver and remove clutch (8) from slot in shaft
