4 Remove flywheel Remove screw (A) securing flywheel to crankshaftThread knock-off screw (Special Tool NoT-8998) into crankshaft until it bottomsBack out two full turnsInsert flywheel removal tool (Special Tool NoT-2989) between flywheel and top of power head
IMPORTANT Angle wedge to avoid contact with stator ring Pry up on flywheel with removal tool and tap knock-off screw with 16 ozhammer
IMPORTANT Do not strike screw with excessive force, as this may damage crankshaft and crankshaft bearings
