Disconnect battery leads from battery before removing starter1Disconnect battery leads from battery2Disconnect YELLOW cable3Remove bolts and remove starter clamps4Remove starter5Remove BLACK cable
Disassembly
1Remove thru bolts and commutator end cap, taking care not to lose brush springsaThru BoltsCommutator End Cap

2Pull armature from starter frame
3Remove locknut
