15Install reverse lock actuator loosely on shift shaft16Position reverse lock actuator so that it just contacts reverse lock hook; secure in this positionTorque actuator screw to 5.1 Nm (45 lbinThe outboard will now ONLY TILT UP IN FORWARD GEARIf the operator wishes the outboard to tilt up in FORWARD and NEUTRAL, place shift lever in REVERSEInstall reverse lock actuator loosely on shift shaftPosition actuator so that 6.4mm (0.25 in clearance exists between reverse lock hook and actuatorSecure actuator in this positionTorque actuator screw to 5.1 Nm (45 lbin)
