STEERING CABLE MOUNTING TUBE INSTALLATION
IInstall mounting bracke (Figu re 2) to engine with locki ng retainers and bolt sTorque bolt to 100 inIhs(1 15kgcm) and hend end of loc king retainers up and against flat on each holt, as shown in Figure 2
CAUTION: With this kit Installed, the upper (engine) mounting bolts MUST BE Installed so that hex head end of boltIs on the inside of boat transom, .s Illustrated belowFailure to Install upper mounting bolts, .8 shown In illUstration, could re.ult In Interference between outer steering cable locking sleeve and ends of mounting bolls when engine Is tilted upInstall Upper Boils so that ell ead End of Bolls Is on the Inside 01 Boat Transom
