Disconnect trim limit swi tch leads (black wire wil purple sleeve and black wire with blue sleevefrom purple-white wire and blue- while wire Con nect Ohmmeter (R scale) leads between trim limit switch lead sCo ntinuity should be ind ica ted If con tinuity is nol indicated, set trimOUIangle adjustmentRefer toTrim Angle Adj ustment s"followi ngRecheck for continuity with engine in full "DownpositionReplace trim limit switch if no continuit is indicated Reconnect wires (black wire with purple sleeve 10 purplewhile wire and black wire wil blue sleeve to blue-whi te wire)DepressUp" trim bulton Engine should trim 10 trim limit point and stopIf engine stops trimming before rcach ing the trim limit point or co nt inues trimming beyond the
