ACAUTION
If drive shaft needle bearing failure has occurred, and original bearing case has turned In the gear housing, gear housing mUlt be replaced Loose filling needle bearing will move oul of position and cause repeated failures
IApplya thin coat of Quicksilver Needle Bearing Asse mbly lubricant to drive shaft needle beari ng bore in gear housingaMandrel (91-92788)
2By way of propeller shaft cavi ty, place needle bearing in drive shaft bore with umhered side of bearing facing up drive shaft hore

3Install and sea needle beari ng(figure 1) Pull bearing up into bore until it bolloms on gear housing shoulderDO NOT use excessive force
